Kelly watched as Bae appeared to be flipping through his sketchbook in order to answer her question. "So life, mainly." She noticed that the boy hadn't mentioned any inanimate objects. Only people and animals (and nowadays, it was hard to tell which animals could really be people). Kelly smiled as Bae appeared to be thinking hard. She liked that such a simple question could provoke so much thought.
"Brown's a lovely color." She responded, pushing a stray piece of hair out of her face. She sat in silence for a few seconds, trying to think of a way to make things less awkward. Then an idea came to her. "Can I see some of your pictures?" A blush began to creep up into her cheeks. "I-I mean, if it's alright. If you don't want me to that's fine!" She wanted to make sure the last line was clear. She didn't want Bae to think she was trying to invade his privacy! One unfortunate problem with Kelly was that she cared a bit too much about what others thought of her.

Bae Yong-Joon ☆ Bae looked up and smiled. He made his way through the pew and walked up the aisle and ducked into her pew, sketchbook in hand. It was nice of her to be polite when she didn't have to be so polite. Bae held out his sketchbook and had a hand in his pocket. Sure you can! It's rare for people to ask me if they can.

Kelly was conditioned to be polite. It was one of the things her parents had instilled into her as a child. Kelly blushed slightly as she saw Bae coming toward her, moving closer...she didn't mind it, but it did surprise her. When he handed over the sketchbook, Kelly accepted it with a 'thank you' and then began perusing the pages. She flipped through each page slowly, as if afraid that she would tear the pages if she moved them too much (which for all she knew could be a real possibility...she wasn't sure how strong the paper was, after all). "Rare?" She questioned. "Do you mean not many people look at your drawings, or they just don't ask before they look?" Kelly was honestly curious. She hoped it was the former.

Bae Yong-Joon ☆ Not many people look at my drawings. I'm not to proud of them, but I'm slowly improving. Bae replied, looking over at the pew with a few Sparrows staring at them with their beady black eyes blinking continuously. They knew he was one of them, but they didn't understand why he was so different looking. Wasn't he supposed to have feathers? And be smaller?

Kelly shrugged. "We're always our worst critics, it seems." She smiled, then began to flip through his sketchbook. She really did not think they were bad at all. Not professional quality, of course, but certainly better than anything she'd ever done. She looked up in time to see Bae glancing at the birds once more. "Wouldn't it be nice to just fly away whenever you wanted to? You wouldn't have to put up with awkward or unwanted situations." She chuckled, just trying to make conversation, but it did strike her that she could do just that if she had more freedom. However, she was not one to shift in front of others very often. As far as she could tell, most with the ability were quite secretive about it.
