Welcome to Preston Heights, Ontario. A few hours outside Toronto, this town is anything but sleepy. There are two different schools in town, Lawrence Collegiate and Preston Heights Academy. PHA is a beautiful boarding school that looks perfect on the outside and is falling apart on the inside. Students come from all over the world to attend, but there are a few problems.
The headmistress is corrupt, spending tuition on things for herself. Drugs and alcohol flow freely, and most teachers don't care enough to stop it. The school is falling apart. The teachers are torn between trying to restore order and turning a blind eye because they need their paychecks. Some students are studying hard and trying to ignore the madness around them. Others take advantage of the anarchy. When a few students from Lawrence let slip how bad things really are, the school's reputation pulls a U-turn. Students are pulled out, and Preston Heights Academy might have to shut its doors forever.
Lawrence Collegiate is PHA's biggest rival. It is the local day school. The students at Lawrence appear to be the exact opposite of at Preston. They are far more driven and would love to see Preston shut down. What they fail to realize is that if Preston was shut down, all its kids would have to be redirected into their hallowed halls. Now with the two schools feuding more than ever, Preston Heights is buzzing with tension and unease, just waiting for it to boil over.
