The day was cool and pleasant, deep clouds drifting now and then across the sun and shading the world from its glare. A slight breeze wound its way through the air, bringing its cooling fingers to sift through the heavy coat that lay upon my back. The different grey shifted and swirled about, intertwining before they lay flat once more with the dieing of the breeze. That was the only downside to remaining in this cat form as the coat I could not get rid of. Nonetheless, this kept me from conversing with others for the most part. Stretching out the large paws connected to my lean appendages, I elongated my body across the large boulder that was positioned in the middle of a field, shaded by a large oak that no one dreamed of cutting down. If it was not known any better, it would appear that I was a lion ruling over my pride on the Serengeti. The fields remained dry as wheat was growing here so it amplified the lie and it simply made me laugh at myself. A foxy grin passed itself across my proud features as these thoughts tumbled through my mind. Finally figuring I had spent enough time lying about doing nothing in particular, I pushed myself to my feet so that I was balanced atop my throne. Rocking back upon my hind limbs, I stretched out my fore paws as far as they would go without tumbling me off balance. Satisfied with the small cracks that ran up my spine, I righted myself as allowed my amber eyes to gaze about.
Nothing much was taking place in this lazy town, especially on the outskirts where I had taken up a residence for the moment. Leaping nimbly from the boulder, I padded lightly to the sidewalk that began its straight path through the town. A deep sigh pressed through my flared nostrils as I decided against shifting back into my human form. The people around these parts had gotten used to my prowling in animal form and the sight of an endangered cat shifting about their streets. Ah well, I would much rather go in comfort than conform. Luckily, I guess more for the town's people, I remained among the outskirts where the large abandoned factory stood, reining over a silent world. The only appeal it had was the presence of mice. Just kidding, mice had no appeal as they didn't have much meat on their bones. A light chuckled danced from my furry jowls as I continued to make my way around the large deserted building.
[OOC:] please excuse the relative crappiness of this post as I'm breaking in a new character. I promise they will get better as I go along =)
