"Listen you kids, you have no idea how things used to be" an old Woman started as some kids passed by on the street. she had short curly white hair and a flowery smell about her. The group of boys stopped and turned to her. one came forward into her face and mocked her
"so what, your saying we aren't better than humans?" she raised her hand and with lightning fast reflexes stuck the teenage boy across the cheek.
The boy staggered back as he gingerly touched the red mark forming on his face.
"a Human gave you your gifts." she stated in a rude voice, her body was tense as she looked at them with bright green eyes through thick framed glasses. "They made your gifts, i do not think it wise to talk badly about them in the manner you just were."
Before the boys had another chance to say anything the old woman shifted into her form, a little white house cat.
The small feline looked at them with the same green eyes. And for the first times in the boys lives they began to realize that all they know wasnt how it used to be. Only a short time ago did their way of live become known. and one more, just one other thought crossed the boys minds as the turned to leave.
"that was then and this is a new time, time of the shifter"

This is the year 2050, and a now-famous scientist by the name of Adam Rightman did what was believed to be impossible. He took animal DNA and combined it with humans. Creating Human-Hybrids known as shifters, who could shift from animal and human form.
Soon after however the awe and excitement from this soon wore-off as animal and human rights activist raised hell and the government tried to end the chaos by destroying the vaccines, but it was too late for the vaccines had already been released to the general public, and unsafe copies were being produced. In an attempt to stop the unsafe copies, the government mass produced the vaccine and offered it as a standard choice of shots at birth.
Not long after the shifter population sky-rocketed. As more babies being born now than ever and as older generations passed away, humans evolved. They did what was said couldn't. They evolved overnight. The shifter population soon replaced humans as the majority group on the planet. And within this new majority, some thought order needed to be restored.
The Were-Wolves, as they so tagged themselves believed that they were a superior form of shifters. Creating Mafias and Gangs they soon began to control everything from the inside out, and before anyone else knew, they had become a secret monarch from every corner. They were in the government, they controlled business and one of the most important things, the production and intake of shifter vaccines.
As other families and groups began to realize whats happened, the talk of action began. Family groups began joining other family groups and in conjunction with other species of shifters, began to fight back. But are the werewolves to strong? Will they Strike back?
or finally fall.
The year is 2050. A famous scientist by the name of Adam Rightman, was conducting experiments using animal and human DNA. Eventually, he combined the two, creating a human that could shift into any given animal known to man. Eventually, this 'vaccine' got into the public and the shifters were born.
One particular species of shifters, werewolves, had a side effect of the vaccine and became arrogant and shied away from the other known shifter species. They created the mafia and soley want their kind to rule the city. There are regular humans living among the shifters, but humans are rather the minority.
The werewolves have become rather powerful. They are now trying to recruit fellow werewolves to gain even more power to overthrow the city officials. Will they make their move? or will they become obsolete?
